ARIADNE

The ARIADNE Foundation is a not-for-profit association that aims to carry out basic and applied research that will improve creation, sharing and reuse of knowledge through the use of technology. It develops and deploys methodologies and software that will provide flexible, effective and efficient access to large-scale knowledge bases. By now (March 2014), there exist around 830,000 learning object metadata in the ARIADNE repository. All the metadata are according to IEEE LOM satandard. Here, we exposed around 827,000 metadata records as Linked Data in more than 7,100,000 triples. The format of the RDF exposed follows the recommendations elaborated as part of the Open Discovery Space project that can be found here. The most important metadata elements exctracted as Linked Data format are the following: - Learning object identifier [General.Identifier] as dcterms:identifier - Title of learning object as dcterms:title - Keywords of learning object as lom:keyword --Actual location of learning object as lom:location
