International Enrolment based on Annual Enrolment report at UBC (Reporting Year, 2012)

This UBC Vancouver Annual Enrolment Report provides information on 2012-13 enrollments in programs across the campus; comparing actual enrolment to planned targets as well as provides information on enrolment projections for the next three years (2013-14 to 2015-16). These enrollment projections form the basis for UBC Vancouver’s long term budget planning.

International enrolment continues to show strong growth at the Vancouver campus. International students registered in 2012 at Vancouver, were drawn from 154 countries. The student bodies at UBC, who work for the welfare and overall development of international students at UBC, can benefit from the two data-sets provided in this section.

• Student groups such as ones working for specific ethnicity group can review these data-sets and assess the number of related ethnic students enrolled in the present year as well as get an estimate of the number for the coming years.

• Students can also take the initiative to can develop new student groups based on the data in this report if the percentage of a specific international student group rises.
